“ I think I found my new favorite Jamaican restaurant. This food was amazing! I mean really and truly i can't say I would give a restaurant five stars too often but it truly earned it. The music and the vibes were reminiscent of Jamaica and the food was as good as I remembered from Jamaica. I love the decor and I was in and out in 15 mins so you can't be that kind of service. I ordered the medium size bowl with Jasmine Rice, Steamed Vegetable's(Cabbage and peppers) and Jerk Chicken and Rasta Ranch. It was all so good and I truly wanted more the next day. Everything was fresh and flavorful and you can tell it was all homemade. I truly want to have an event just for them to cater lol. I also loved the heat in the dish and the sauce it was the good kind of heat that doesn't bother your stomach. All around it's a winner and I hope more people check it out. ”
“ It's frustrating when a restaurant is reported on Yelp that is it open for business and when you arrive it is closed. Anyways, I was finally able to try the food here and I'm glad I gave it a second chance. The Jerk Chicken was absolutely amazing! The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent. Their sweet plantains were cooked to perfection. I will defiantly be eating here a lot more. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves Jamaican food. ”
“ What a nice find! I'm so glad my hairdresser was running behind schedule and I had time to grab some lunch! As usual, when I'm in an area I'm not very familiar with, I always turn to Yelp to see what's in the area. If you've ever been to Jamaica and are craving a taste of anything Jamaican, this is your spot. I had the oxtail with rice and peas (aka red beans and rice)...the meat was fall off the bone tender. The crust/pastry on the beef patty was so tender and flaky and there was just the right amount of spice on the beef filling, which means just a touch of heat added to the perfect spices (I like spicy-flavorful, not spicy-hot). The reggae's playing in the background and there are a couple of comfy seating areas in addition to plenty of tables and chairs. The young lady working was very nice. I'm glad she convinced me to try the beef patty (I'll try the chicken and veggie Patty's next time). Service was quick and friendly. ”
“ Really welcoming staff and a lot of good selection for food! They gave me samples of many different meats to try. All were juicy and flavorful. I had the curry goat. Lot of flavor. Definitely a good experience when trying something new. Prices are a bit high, but I would go again and get something new. ”
“ My 97 yr old mother craved oxtails so I set about finding some. The Jerk Turf is a relatively new business but I took a leap of faith and drove 40 miles to Auburn Hills. I'm happy to say my mother loved her dinner: tasty oxtails, vibrant cabbage and red peppers, delicious plantains. ”
